Spellwright gets a first batch of blurbs!
Dearly Beloved You Guys:
First, apologies for the blog neglect. After finishing up the last med school classes of second year, my final line-edit for Tor came due. That has been followed by a flurry of PR related errands, which are not quite finished. However, we’ve recently received some wonderful quotations from some of the authors I admire most! In particular, it’s an honor to receive a blurb from Robin Hobb, whose books I would sneak into special ed study hall when I was teaching myself how to read. No less exciting are the blurbs from Toby Buckell and Sean Williams, both of whom I count among the most original fantasists writing today.
Nicodemus Weal is a protagonist that all of us can identify with. SPELLWRIGHT features a unique system of magic and characters that are genuine inhabitants of that world. SPELLWRIGHT is a letter perfect story: an absorbing read and recommended.
-Robin Hobb, bestselling author of THE FARSEER TRILOGY; THE LIVESHIP TRADERS TRILOGY; THE TAWNY MAN TRILOGY; and THE SOLDIER SON TRILOGY
Blake Charlton’s novel is, quite literally, a magical and spellbinding adventure about overcoming the sort of odds that many in our own world struggle with.
-Tobias Buckell, bestselling author of CRYSTAL RAIN; RAGAMUFFIN; SLY MONGOOSE; and HALO: THE COLE PROTOCOL
An absorbing tale of acceptance for lovers of language and magic everywhere.
-Sean Williams, bestselling author of THE BOOKS OF THE CATACLYSM and STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASHED
